Japan Kagoshima Kirishima SENCHA EMERALD (Yabukita)
Very good middle quality grade of traditional Japanese green tea. A first-rate, dark green, a bit larger leaf with ratio of broken leaves, typical for more steamed teas.
Light green infusion of a quite delicious, slightly floral, mildly astringent, markedly grassy, brisk, harmonious taste with a typical ocean and forest aroma.
Preparation tip: warm the teapot, add 6 – 8 g of tea, pour 0.3 l of water 70 – 80 °C, steep about 120 sec. Another steep is possible. |
