Japan Shizuoka Tenryu BANCHA (Yabukita)
Japanese basic grade green tea from less prized crops, produced of bigger leaves from lower branches of tea plants. A not really evenly rolled, bigger, light green to yellow green leaf. Yellow green infusion of a sweetish, grassy, slightly astringent, brisk taste and a pleasant fragrance.
Preparation tip: 1) warm the teapot, add a tea filter with about 9 g of tea, pour 0.6 l of boiling water, steep for 40 – 70 sec.
Preparation tip: 2) warm the teapot, add 6 g of tea, pour 0.3 l of water80°C warm, steep for 90 – 120 sec. Another steep is possible. |
